Early music has been traditionally recorded in a compressed and limited capacity; to cater towards lower quality speaker and headphones. Our recordings are immersive and experiential, requiring headphones or a high quality stereo system.
L’Isola standard release recordings are ‘close-mic’d’, binaural and aimed at high fidelity audio systems in order to reproduce the unsurpassed detail and immediacy of the human ear.
